一、Application

 

GLC79-400/3.6,GLC79-400/3.6(S),GLC79-400/3.6(D),GLC79-800/3.6, GLC79-800/3.6(S),GLC79-800/3.6(D) isolating phase change switch (hereinafter referred to as isolator), which are used in the large volume explosion-proof electromagnetic starter of AC 50Hz, voltage to 3.6kV, current to 400A (800A) for mining, as the isolation of main circuit and changing the phase sequence of the current at the condition of load. This switch can replace imported products. There is a reliable auxiliary contact installed in the isolator. Isolating phase change switch can be with

test location or ground position and meet a variety of application requirements of the customers.

五、Structure  

The outline of the isolator is shown as picture 1-6.


The structure of the isolator is rotary style,
±45°. The contact of the isolator is dual fracture rotary style, divided into moving contact and static contact. There are pressure spring in the static contact to ensure the pressure of the contact. Contact has the characteristics of high level isolating withstand voltage, bear big current, strong capability of self-cleaning, etc. The rotation of the contact is located by the mechanism to ensure the reliable operation of the isolating switch. The insulating parts of the isolating switch are composed of insulated panel, insulation baffle, static contact insulation base, insulation sleeve and so on, which can ensure the insulation performance of the ground, phase-phase and fracture of the isolating switch. The insulation parts adopt DMC repression, have good mechanical performance and electrical insulation performance.

 

The operation of the insulator. The main axis drives the contact to rotate( of which the test and ground circuit rotate forward 90 °), at the same time, drive the location cam rotate, make the location spring storage energy. When the main axis is rotating, the location spring release energy and help the contact to reach the purpose of opening and closing, the auxiliary contact also converts.

 

六、Installation, using and maintenance 

 

1.     The mounting size of the insulator shown as picture 1-6.

 

2. When the main circuit is connected at output end, a & c phases at one end(up), b phase at another end(below). When the operating axis in the zero position, the main circuit is at isolated condition; Operating axis rotates clockwise to connection condition, input and output phase sequence is the same, positive connection; Operating axis rotates counter-clockwise to connection condition, the input and output phase sequence A & B conversion, backward connection. Circuit schematic shown in picture 7, A, B, C are input end, a, b, c are output end.

 

3. During operation the moving parts should keep flexible, and the moving parts can be put on a small amount of lubricating oil. Regularly check the working status of the contacts, the contact should be inspected in time to see if there is any over travel if the contact has something unusual, and make the necessary adjustments.
